From Bandcamp, "Bloody Circuit" marks a return to darker territories after 20+ years of sonic exploration across multiple aliases and genres. Blending ritualistic darkwave with aggressive synth-driven soundscapes, this seven-track journey fuses the raw energy of metal with modern electronic production. Electric guitar textures cut through pulsing basslines and haunting synths, creating a sound that's both nostalgic and brutally contemporary." Minus a brief intro song, the album has six songs. "Somewhere in Between" features energetic synths and guitar parts that compliment one another, and the coldwave feels alive. Lead breaks are on point, and the song has a steady pulse. This is indeed groovy.

"Time of Uncertainty" is another mid-tempo song that boasts the steady pacing of electronica along with guitars. At times, it has a snarl to it, while the melody line rides out like a motorcycle on a straight stretch of road. The title track is both darker and more mysterious, and you get the sense something is brewing out there in the shadows. This time, the guitar rhythms have a bite to them, while the synths create a smooth, melodic listen. The lead breaks are fantastic as well. "Overheating" has a weighted groove of big, fat synth notes that could swallow the landscape whole, and that melody shines through it like rays of sunshine. If you can't groove to this, you might not be alive.

"Shadow Whisper" has a slow, heavy pulse of synths that build in layers on top of one another. This album is quite catchy. "Iron Sacrament" closes the album, and it's another song with big keyboard and guitar hooks. Some of the synth notes are so towering, they could crush the very ground that you walk upon. This album was excellent, and I wish they had a social media account. The synthwave was smooth…even cold at times, but always alive. For those of you who were alive in the 80's, this will be a sentimental sound. But like all good music, it lives today, not in the past.
