Deadly Remains - Severing Humanity album cover

Oh how I miss Brutal Death Metal! You folks have no idea at all, and to my luck DEADLY REMAINS have quenched my thirst and induced mental outbursts of brutality. "Severing Humanity" my dear reader is a Death Metal fan's best friend... no, not your cute pet dog! This is a successful Brutal Death release, why? It has the vocals, the good production, and the feel any listener would want from this genre and this great band.

Fuck it, the album doesn't even need an intro, they start firing their SMGs at you directly with "Home Invasion" and I'm sure they literally meant that. This album is better than most releases in the genre due to it being very memorable in terms of complex riffs, vocal delivery, and that insane drumming that will really blow you away. The structure, the intense atmosphere is just what this genre asks for!

"Severing Humanity" is not only what you'd crave, but it comes with many surprises, such as outstanding maneuvers in dealing with guitar riffs, some time signatures here and there and last but not least... fucking ear candy man. DEADLY REMAINS sure have outdone themselves and I believe there is nothing left to discuss. I'll let the album speak for itself.
