Hailing from Brescia, Italy, Mayhem Mavericks are a hard rock outfit that blends raw power with melodic intensity. The band consists of three seasoned musicians: Marcello Spera on vocals, Andrew Trabelsi (Füel For Tunes, StreetLore, ex-Mastro) on guitars and keyboards, and Andrea Oliverio (ex-Mastro) on drums.Mayhem Mavericks rises from the ashes of Alchemy. Following the positive feedback their album "Dyadic" received from fans and specialised press; the group decided to disband due to artistic differences. The two core members of the project, Marcello Spera and Andrew Trabelsi, subsequently founded the new band.Drawing on their shared background, they've created a project with a direct, uncompromising sound while maintaining a strong melodic impact.

"Divide" provides a strong start to this debut,a very guitar driven track,which is a lively energetic track with an equally good chorus,a track which has an impact."Killing Eyes" opening with the sound of sirens & swirling synths,with a modern Melodic flavour sound wise.,a strong vocal delivery with some great fret runs guitar wise.Hitting slightly harder with a slightly edgier vocal "Midnight Crawler" maintains that energy,another impressive number which you instantly take to."With Me" is a piano led power ballad,which allows you to take a breath briefly, before the track gains momentum with some clever guitar touches, Marcello Spera showcases his vocal range in the 2nd half of the track with another powerful delivery to bring the track home."I Can Feel The Heartache" was the first track i heard which i instantly loved,i was hooked by its catchy melodies and the big anthemic chorus."Eclipse" is soulful,with a modern sound and some great harmonies,"Join The Fight" which includes some great synth effects with a deep bass line which accompanied by the drums contributes to a punchy flowing track."More To Ask" is a huge ballad style track with another fantastic vocal full of emotion,with Marcello Spera pouring his heart out! "Best Of Me" is a rocky,punchy energised number,which has some great riffing and runs going on,"One Day In A Lifetime" has a big synth intro which leads to another guitar led atmospheric,anthemic track with great lyrics and chorus.The last track "Road With No End" ends the album as it started track full of energy more strong melodies,the drums hit hard ,but man the chorus is pure fire, Mayhem Mavericks bring this album to one almighty ending just fantastic Melodic Rock.

This self-titled debut is just for me on another level.As far as debut albums go,this is one of the strongest debut albums I have heard in a very long time.An album full of energy,hooks galore and some glorious anthemic choruses with some on the money production! I doubt that there will be a better debut album this year that will match this one from Mayhem Mavericks .Definitely a must album, excellent modern Melodic Rock.Mayhem Mavericks debut is released 30th January on Street Symphonies/Burning Minds.
