WHOCARES is a project by DEEP PURPLE's singer Ian Gillan and BLACK SABBATH's Guitarist Tony Iommy, which was founded to make and record two songs that were made for the donation of profits. The first single "Out Of My Mind" even had a really cool video also featuring Nicko Mcbrain (IRON MAIDEN) Jon Lord R.I.P (ex-DEEP PURPLE), Jason Newsted (ex-FLOTSAM & JETSAM, ex-VOIVOD, ex-METALLICA) and Linde Lindstrom (HIM). The song is a really awesome Hard Rock number with a SABBATH vibe from the Gillan era but with some keyboard work. They also recorded another new song "Holy Water" which pretty much equivalent to the former.

The album itself is merely a bunch of songs from Gillan's and Iommy's careers that in my opinion don't have much in common. This compilation haven't passed mastering to be called a record and sounds just like a mix tape of these two great artists that some old school guy made for his car. Most of the songs are in a very low quality production and  just sound like as if someone wanted to make money out of this great musicians long catalog. On the other hand if you like Iommy and Gillan, this is a great mix tape for your driving. By the way, the two new songs are awesome and more than worth your time.
