First and foremost, I am excited as hell to be able to review such an awesome album. Speed Metal is definitely alive in HORROR PIKNIK's offering to the Metal gods, "Speed Metal Je Ziv!" The whole album kept me enthralled like watching my very first horror movie. With hints of Speed, Thrash, and Death Metal being beaten into your skull, you can't help but to listen with every part of your body. I am almost certain you will head throughout the entire album, to the point of having a bang-over the next day.

There was very little I could find online about our Serbian brothers in Metal that was written in English, and neither the band's Facebook or Myspace page had much in the way of history, discography, song lyrics, or anything else really. So, the band may be shrouded in a little mystery, but what really awesome things in life aren't?

If you love SLAYER, NAPALM DEATH, even SUICIDIAL TENDENCIES, you're going dig HORROR PIKNIK. Check them out on YouTube; you won't be disappointed.
