Madhouse are a Glam Metal band from Vienna in Austria who were formed by Mikky Sixx in 2017.Their origins trace back to a Hard N' Heavy show where 18 musicians gathered to form a band. The Glam Rock outfit draw their influences from legendary bands such as Motley Crue,Ratt and Skid Row which gives their unique raw energy & sound of Glam Metal blended with a Hard Rock edge .In 2019 Madhouse unleashed their high energy debut album “Money Talks,Bullshit Walks” ,which was followed by “Bad Habits” in 2021 which was more of a polished and aggressive style album,then in 2023^rd album “Down N' Dirty” further refined their sound..Madhouse are well renowned for their explosive & larger than life stage shows and presence. “Plead The Fifth” pushes the boundaries even further.

“Plead The Fifth” is full throttle from the first note of “Midnite Fever” its loud,big guitar riffs,pounding drum and a thumping bass with a gritty vocal from Tommy Lovelace.”We Run Riot “ the lead single is Headbangers Ball MTV gold nostalgia with a modern twist the influence of Skid Row very apparent this is the new “Youth Gone Wild” style anthem for 2025.The Hair Metal & Glam keeps coming in droves with “Bring On The Night” ,”Shotgun Rider” and the killer sounding “Get A Grip” which is some heavy riffs,basslines and fast pounding drums with that loud gang backing vocal chorus & guitar solo.”Live & Tease” is infectious,its dirty and its sleazy with touches of Crue and Ratt which is also there for all to hear,also in the kick ass “It's A Monster In My Head”. A bit of a surprise comes in a cover of Giant's ballad “I'll See You In My Dreams” which is a welcome rest from the high octane tracks which came before!,a very good cover, but nothing beats the original for me.”Mad To The Bone” gets us back on the Madhouse train in fine style instantly likeable Hair Metal with style,”I Die Alone” which I expected to be another ballad ,was another loud track which oozes attitude.”You Got The Tail Down” ends the album in true rock n' roll style high energetic melodies with screaming guitars and a big chorus which live fists will be pounding the air!

“Plead The Fifth” is one of the loudest,most energetic Hair Metal albums that I have heard for a long time. It packs a serious knockout punch full of attitude,sleaze and unapologetic Rock N' Roll for 2025.This is an album which beats new material from established bands by a country mile!
