Cripper - Antagonist album cover

Antagonist is Cripper's third full-length release, and is the first time I listened to them, and having listened to it from the beginning to the end I can honestly say I won't be listening to any other of them, but much more because of my own personal taste, so I will try and keep it out of the way and try to look at it objectively with the eyes of its intended audience.

Cripper was formed in 2005 and hails from Hannover, Germany, they play thrash metal with almost guttural-death-metal-like vocals performed by the singer Britta Görtz, she (yes, she is a woman which ought to please the feminists out there) is a singer along the lines of Sabina from Holy Moses or Angela from Arch Enemy, very aggressive and guttural, as I mentioned before, which pretty much describes the entire album, the same old brutality and aggression that has been done by countless of other times by countless of other bands.

If you like this style of thrash check it out, but this is not an album that will remain in history neither for its music and neither for the fact of having a woman singing, for this too has been done countless of other times.
