After some false start, factious "last ever" farewell tour(s), invalid reunion and erroneous declarations... Finally I hold the new album by TYKETTO with the four original members playing on it! I still remember perfectly that day, when in a famous Metal club in Madrid / Spain, I saw for the first time the video for "Forever Young" I was instantly hooked by this riff and right away by the Danny Vaughn's voice, a soulful voice and quite irregular & so particular which is the signature for TYKETTO and imho still a winning ace in their game. I was a strong supporter of the band in the early 90s when they were touring all-over Europe and I still also consider their 2nd "Strength In Numbers" as a very fine album!

Since then, I was longing for this album for so many years that I have to think twice before writing about this CD, because let's face it's... It's an immense disappointment to me... Nevertheless it's not a bad album at all! In fact it sounds more like VAUGHN's solo releases than anything else... Being a Hair-Metal reunited band it's not easy today, the expectations are opposite and contrary, I wished for "'Don't Come Easy part 2012" as some others could ask for a more updated sound... Well stylistically it's a mix of both... The main problem finally it's in the songwriting department... No huge tracks here on the other hand some well written stuff but no anthem no hit-single at the end of the day not an essential release
