The last album in the trilogy of Osukaru reissues in the Pride & Joy Classix series from Pride & Joy Music is the 2021 release “Starbound”.Originally released on the great AOR Heaven Label which is no more due to retirement. Oz quoted as saying "For our next album, we got in contact with the amazing label Pride & Joy Music to continue our catalogue moving forward and when I brought up the fact that there's been a few requests as of late to reissue some of our older material, they happily took it upon themselves to help us make them something special, also adding our now sold out album 'Starbound' to the mix as well."

The album title track starts this album “Starbound” is a great solid start with a great solid melodic melody ,anthemic chorus with great harmonies, with a solid vocal delivery from Fredrik Werner. ”Rise Of The Underdog” has a thunderous pounding drum beats ,a crunchy addictive, memorable riff that Oz Hawe Petersson has this gift of producing ,a much heavier feel but keeping its melodic roots in the chorus ,with a blistering short but sweet guitar solo, great vocals too. .”Tainted Heart” is that track that is straight out of the 80's with a lush melody, another big chorus with that killer guitar solo. ”Somewhere, Sometime, Somehow” Feat. Mark Holden is pure smooth melodic & AOR in nature radio air waves material which deserves heavy rotation .”Joker (In The House Of Cards)” & “Shut It Out” are much more hard rock tracks filled with yet more infectious catchy guitar riffs, thumping basslines & rhythm arena hard rock/hair metal anthems. ”Go For The Legends” is that feel good hair metal track ,great keys input ,a big big chorus, catchy melody ,another killer guitar solo which gives me Danger Danger vibes one of my favourite tracks on the album.

Within The Depths Of Love” is a great power ballad with a powerful vocal and some more great harmonies in the chorus. ”All Up” is a great track to end the album with which has the same melodic rock  formula as the other tracks on the album.” Tainted Heart (Instrumental Synth wave Mix)” (Feat. Taekwondo) the bonus is a good musical instrumental version ,would have liked to see a track with vocals something unreleased or reimagined like on the other two re-issues, but musically the track sounds great never the less. Osukaru deliver another great album from their back catalogue. Another great reissue that I'm sure will be welcomed for those fans who missed its release first time around.”Starbound” is Osukaru's sixth studio album released in 2021 with a new release slated for first half of 2025.Osukaru just have that great formula to write great songs with infectious melodies and rhythm, great hooks and anthemic choruses that sound current but also nostalgic. Another great album which I recommend.
