Farewell to the Flesh
Dawn of Ashes

Evolution doesn't mean the fact of accepting the whole new tendencies going on in this world; so if these guys believe that this EP is modern and goes with the "new style" in music, please go back to hell and for the love of Allah, Buddha, Jesus and Satan himself stay there.
This release in my personal, very personal, view is just another waste of time (even when I have nothing else to do), the talent or knowledge in music that DAWN OF ASHES could (and may) have, goes darkened among that fucking electro touches vaguely remembering me that they have moved into the Metal scene. This would have been nice... for a fucking after party of intoxicated idiots jumping around and pretenders of human beings, not for Metalheads.
Musically... well it's hard for me to highlight something here, only because those mixes of console destroy any good instumentation, and just for the record: I'm not against the remixes, but in this exact case they have overused this concept, transcending into something very hard to digest for any Metal fans just because these songs sound more like made only by computers that real musicians were used in the making.
I know many here will scream and say "It's a remix EP, you fucking idiot", and I can go with that, but that's only the show of my point: this is a useless release, and as I've always said, I won't appeal to their talent and say the classic phrase "this sucks", because these guys do more of what I'm capable to do, but that doesn't erase the fact that this EP is awfully bad. DAWN OF ASHES have made a mistake with this, because if they were trying to move from Aggrotech (whatever that means) to the Metal world, this was a hell of a bad move.
