30 years is a long time to release hit after hit, but KORN has accomplished that, so it was only right for a celebration tour. They brought along GOJIRA and SPIRITBOX for the ride and made a stop at Tulsa, Oklahoma's BOK Center for a sold out show.

SPIRITBOX is one of the biggest modern metal acts and if landing a spot on a tour with two legends like GOJIRA and KORN doesn't prove that, then I don't know how else to explain it. It's not just luck. They're like a breath of fresh air when it comes to music, and vocalist Courtney LaPlante's astonishing mix of clean and scream vocals is a huge asset. She has a beautiful and powerful voice to go along with a band of talented musicians. They have been one of the fastest rising bands in recent years and they don't show any sign of slowing down. Fans goes crazy for them and rightly so. They have released some of the catchiest music I can think of in recent metal and continue to wow fans with their live shows. They're no strangers to selling out concerts and playing to enormous crowds at the biggest metal festivals.

GOJIRA have made a household name for themselves after their legendary Olympics performance in Paris, but they've been a big deal in the world of metal for even longer selling out shows and landing spots on huge tours and festivals. The talent and power behind their music is remarkable and unlike anything being put out today, in my opinion. They continue to make huge strides in the music scene and put on one of the most spectacular lives shows of any band out there. Having them open for KORN was brilliant  and as soon as the tour was announced, fans knew they were in for a treat and a hell of a good time. GOJIRA is loud, their performance is tight, and there was so much fire. Who couldn't love that?

There will never be another KORN. The impact they've made on numetal, and music in general, is unfathomable. They're the type of band that even non-metalheads can groove to and maybe that's why TikTok has coined the term "girly pop" for them and others like them. However, KORN is anything but pop. They may have a lot of radio-friendly and catchy songs, but make no mistake — KORN is still heavy as they come. If you don't think so, attend one of their concerts. These guys throw down — their mosh pits get absolutely wild and their fans are screaming every single song. I don't think there was a song they played that didn't have a mosh pit going. After 30 years, KORN is still one of the best live bands in the business and they never disappoint. I would go so far as to say that very few new bands could even compete with their live show. What was special about this tour is that they played a lot of songs you don't often hear them play live, including "Twist," "Clown," "Ball Tongue," and others, but they played a lot of radio hits, as well. Hearing them play a snippet of METALLICA's "One" was incredible and the crowd went insane for it. This was one for the books from absolute legends.
