Rising Insane are back with their fourth studio album "Wildfires". The album takes an in-depth look at the consequences of our collective abstinence from empathy and challenges listeners to ignite their inner flame for change. It is an urgent call to break out of the darkness. While Rising Insane remain true to their post-hardcore and metal core roots on "Wildfires", the band has evolved both collectively and individually, which is clearly reflected in the new and fresh sound. With over 20 million streams worldwide and top placements on some of the most influential streaming playlists, Rising Insane have recently caused quite a stir. Supported by numerous tour dates, 2024 is set to be a big year for the band.

Reign” opens the album which has elements of symphonic metal in parts while sticking within the bands metal core sound, some great synths giving melodic feels. ”Monster” shows that Rising Insane's are not afraid to be experimental with the inclusion of electronic beats, which blend in with the melody of the track  superbly, a great track. ”Lighthouse” is another superb track with some great vocals from Aaron Steineker, very commercial melodies with great appeal .”Malicious” has an industrial modern metal sound, which has some very inventive synth work which sounds really cool blending together to make a unique sound and style,” Bet On Me” has the same momentum melodic parts mixed with some more heavier aggressive vocals & melodies. ”Warning” is a bit more heavier than previous tracks vocally & musically more heavy hitting but still those synth touches.

*Counting Regrets” is a short music interlude which sets the mood for “Carousel” a track which has some great drum work from Robert Kühling, another heavy track heavy guitar riffs with an industrial metal feel. ”Born” has a thunderous bassline ,a fast paced track in places, but the melodic chorus making the track catchy .”The Door” a ballad of sorts is a dramatic ,emotional track ,epic powerful ,some nice orchestral touches when the track builds with some exceptional vocals ,the best track on the album. ”Wildfire” concludes the album fast paced ,heavy ,fast pounding drums ,aggressive vocally and musically ending the album with one almighty bang.

This is not my normal go to sort of band but I'm really glad that I did ,Rising Insane “Wildfires” is my first time hearing this band, but I loved the way they are experimental with their sound, not afraid to try different things. The synth and electronic beats are genius and sound really cool, with some great production and mixing. The album has the perfect balance of being heavy ,but yet melodic too which gives the album some dark shades with some equally as good light shade moments .A great album worth checking out
