I always love a good intro song; I think it sets the stage for the rest of the album and is an important addition in any album. DECEASED offers a great intro song, leading into a great album. "Children of the Morgue" - This song stands out as a gripping and harrowing track. The song's ominous atmosphere is set with a slow-burning intro, building into a frenzied, relentless onslaught of raw, uncompromising Death Metal. The vocalist's deep, menacing growls perfectly captures the dark themes that the song explores, while the musicianship is tight and precise, creating a sound that's both punishing and engaging. "Terrornaut" - This is a brutal track that pays homage to classic sci-fi horror themes. The song's chaotic mix of brutal riffs and haunting vocals instantly transport listeners to a nightmarish, otherworldly realm. The driving energy of the song is unrelenting, with the band showcasing both technical prowess and their ability to create a gripping atmosphere.
