Considering this is UFO's 21^st studio album, the British Rockers hardly need any introduction. Not contented to sit back on their laurels, the band continues to produce high quality Rock albums and "Seven Deadly" is certainly no exception.

As you'd expect, UFO are on top form here. The album opener "Fight Night" could be on any one of their other albums and fit right in. There's an early UFO sound to the majority of the album and it just goes to prove that they are still very good at what they do. There are a couple of variations with tracks "Mojo Town" and "Angel Station" which are slightly slower tracks, the latter being a ballad which is completely different from the rest of the album, but awesome nonetheless. It would be really difficult to pick a favourite from "Seven Deadly", as they've all got the potential to be classics, but if I had to, I'd probably choose the album closer, "Waving Good Bye". It's a brilliant way to end the album and, in my opinion, really showcases the best of the band.

To say that Phil Mogg has got an outstanding voice would be an understatement, especially considering that he's been UFO'S frontman for 43 years. His voice is consistently good on "Seven Deadly" and he shows and awesome range. The guitar work from Vinnie Moore is brilliant, with the guitar solos allowing him to show off his skill. Raymond and Parker provide the rhythm of the album, with excellent style, bringing it all together. The band sound as good as ever, and haven't lost anything, even after all this time.

To be fair, I don't think anyone was ever really expecting anything less than brilliant from the band. I was thoroughly impressed with "Seven Deadly", and I know it's still early, but this definitely has the potential to be one of my top albums of 2012.

When I was younger UFO has been a name that always been there but I never had the chance to get into them as I would have liked. Over the years, when I became older enough, I was happy to taste from their great music to appreciate this legendary band. With their great contribution to the Hard Rock world and with their major hit single "Lights Out", I will forever hold a special place for them. 2012 presents their new album along with three of the original members from their glorious days.

"Fight Night", a good Hard Rock track to start with, very catchy, but nothing special other than that, but the big buzz came right after it on their second track "Wonderland", which I found as their best track of the release, has the mark of the band's musical touch UFO and along with the great work of Vinnie Moore that fits like a glove to the band and shows that UFO is not only Michael Schenker. The Hard Rock stroke remained only on the first 2 songs and from then and on it was Blues all the way. Their forth track "Angel Station" is a good ballad with so much soul in it, Phil Mogg meant to each word in those lyrics ."Steal Yourself" shows that Phil hasn't lost it, a great performance with his blissful voice.

"Burn Your House Down" is one of the best tracks here on the album,nice melody on the verse and especially the chorus stick to your head, the Bluesy guitar solo of Vinnie Moore that turned to a Hard Rock solo is on the right place. "Waving Good Bye" is a good song to close the album, gives you calm feeling of freedom while leaving with a good taste. In general, the album is ok, not bad, the songs are very simple but I expected more from this legendary band especially when Vinnie Moore is in the band. It's not that it has no magic in it but as a Bluesy album it felt a little pale with no drive. It's like I heard it before or everything is just too obvious.
