Vale Of Pnath - The Prodigal Empire album cover

VALE OF PNATH are coming from Denver, Colorado, USA. They are playing a melodic kind of Black / Death Metal. They have released one demo entitled "Vale of Pnath" and their debut album is "The Prodigal Empire". They were founded on 2008.

"The Prodigal Empire" is a good debut album. Firstly, the production is clear and pretty much suitable for their style. The main advantage is that they are avoiding the influences of the Swedish melodic Death Metal scene. Here you will find influences mostly from DISSECTION and MORBID ANGEL. They inflict a total dark atmosphere and excellent Black / Death Metal riffs, employing melodies where they should without being boring. Throughout the album there are atmospheric points turning it quite nightmarish. From the first minutes of the opening track, you will feel the band's personal touch. This is a worthy listener no doubt about it.
