Enid - Munsalvaesche album cover

Well, ENID is a Black Metal band that is coming from Germany, Porta-Westafalica. It has been since 1997. At first ENID released a self-titled demo and afterward to date, five studio albums were released, while "Munsalvaesche" is the latest. ENID is a one man band and sole project of Martin Wiese.

After seven years of silence, ENID is back with a fine album. Lyricism, Romanism, tradition and medieval elements are being contained within "Munsalvaesche". Once again, main influences from Classic music as you can see on "The Journey", lyricism on "Condwiramurs" and epic melodies on "Valley under two sun", are evident. Guitars' melodies are fully inspired from Heavy Metal music and a little bit from its Gothic counterpart. There is a great use of Keyboards that result a vast atmosphere. The excellent artwork is usual for this project just as on previous albums. Just as in the past, I liked very much the clear and growl vocals of Wiese. "Munsalvaesche" is a nice album and the fans of the kind will not be disappointed.
