EINHERJER are coming from Norway and they have been playing Folk / Black Metal. They have released four full length albums and the fifth is "Norron". Among these albums they have several releases like 2 demos (1994 and 2002) and 2 EPs (1995 and 1997). Let's check out "Norron".
As I said "Norron" is the fifth full length album of EINHERJER and from what I could tell their style hasn't changed even for a bit. Some folk influences and the basic Black Metal style are the main elements of the album. Guitar riffs reminded me of the BATHORY, uniqueness and a wonderful kind of vocals. Another advantage is the atmosphere, its dark and epic, the keyboards are not playing the main part, but the guitars and the traditional sound they implement.
Tracks like "Norron Kraft", "Nagflar" and "Atter pa malmtings Blodige voll" are results of excellent EINHERJER Metal. The main disadvantage is that there an evolution missing. It was hard for me to find any factor of development here. "Blot" was a great album, however, regretfully "Norron" didn't reach the main level.
