This is the new studio album from AOR and Melodic Rock queen Issa (also known as Isabell Oversveen). Issa is definitely a leading force in her genre captivating a worldwide audience with her voice and melodies, she has a huge track record with this release this will be her eighth studio album for Frontiers Music. For “Another World” , Issa has teamed up with the Tom and James Martin who were former members of Vega ,current members of Nitrate who are also hugely talented producers and song writers, also musicians who are responsible for producing one of the best AOR/Melodic albums of 2023 Nitrate “Feel The Heat”. Issa duetted on a track on that album with Nitrate singer Alexander Strandell, also providing backing vocals. Apart from the Martin Brothers, Issa is joined by an array of guest musicians which include Melvin Brannon Jr (Dan Reed Network),Robert Sall  (Work Of Art),Pete Newdeck (Vega) and Josh “Tabbie” Williams (Midnite City).“Another World” follows the triumph of her seventh studio album, "Lights Of Japan” where Issa reinvention of her sound, seamlessly blending influences from her roots with the evolving musical landscape. Once again, the new album showcases Issa's versatility and artistic growth.

“Armed And Dangerous” the first single kicks off the new album in style the melody is catchy with some great hooks ,with a great chorus that packs a punch, vocally Issa sounds superb with some killer vocals.” All These Wild Nights” just carries on in the same vain the second single classic nostalgic 80's AOR think Heart, Vixen and Robin Beck ,those big vocals, with the perfect balance of keyboards, rhythm and guitars mixed and produced to perfection by Tom and James Martin .”Only The Dark” is more of a chilled AOR track which has more tender vocals from Issa yet powerful, well controlled reminds me of a Richard Marx track but I can't quite put my finger on it!

“Never Sleep Alone” has a rockier edge to the melody ,also to the delivery of the track, again great vocally. ”The Road To Victory” a feel good track with a positive message that you can succeed message in the lyrics, some great song writing pure smooth AOR a great guitar solo from Leon Winteringham. With “Another The World” and “Kick Of Fire” the nostalgia carries on those superb guitar runs, the drums, bass and keyboards all balanced perfectly .”Got A hold on Me” has a groovy & catchy bassline from Josh “Tabbie” Williams the backbone of this great track with a great solo from Robert Sall, crystal clear vocals, ”A Second Life” is a great power ballad which no doubt would been a smash hit back in the day, also the main track from a huge blockbuster movie. and the closing track on the album "The Hardest Fight" and "Lost And Lonely" have that fantastic AOR formula which I have mentioned throughout this review which signed, sealed and delivered throughout this album both musically and vocally.

Issa “Another World “ can be summed up in two words AOR perfection! The vocals are flawless ,the musicianship, song writing and production are excellent. Tom and James Martin have done a fantastic job with this album the songs remind me of that Desmond Child winning formula and also Dianne Warren in the song writing, also production wise. A great partnership with Issa who definitely is the queen of AOR/Melodic rock.
