First things first: Not to be confused with the American glam band with the same name!
It was late April when me and three others editors of our web magazine, went to 'Keep It True' festival. Even though I knew WARRANT, it was going to be the first time seeing them on stage. I surely liked that band, but from that time and forth I loved them.
"Ready to Command 2010" is not a simple compilation. It has everything that WARRANT recorded until today! Here, someone will find their first recording, the EP called "First Strike", their one and only, until now, full length "The Enforcer" and the four songs that were planned to be in their second full length in 1986 that never saw the light. Pure fucking teutonic Heavy Metal. This is what this band is all about. Forget all those gothic ambient or any other crap that came into Metal. Bands like WARRANT are here to remind us of what the music we all love is all about. Songs like "The Enforcer", "Ready To Command", "Satan", "The Rack"...I can go on writing down most of the ones that you will listen in this CD. The last two live tracks were taken from their last performance at 'Keep It True' festival, a festival that I was fortunate enough to be there.
25 years are too much for only one full length album and an EP. Fortunately WARRANT is going to release their fresh new album soon. But until this time comes, if you are a Metal fan that you don't have those two releases, you owe to yourself to buy "Ready To Command 2010". If you already have the EP and the full length, again you have to buy this compilation, in order to have the four demo songs and the two live ones. So what are you waiting for? Go and grab this CD!
