Death Is Dead

CORAM DEO (whose name means "in the presence of God" or "before the face of God" or something like that) present their brand new EP which carries the incredibly lame tile "Death Is Dead". The fact is that things got even worse when I realized that their debut album, which was issued in 2007 is entitled "Evangelion", and their lyrics are totally connected to their name, since lyrics like "God's in power" and "He is your friend" made me laugh my hairy ass off!
Yeah, the only good thing about this album is that it made me laugh. Other than that, the Ukrainian act has nothing more to offer. What this EP has to give is below average melodic Black/Death Metal with some slight Thrash touches. Having been unfortunate enough to have listened to their debut album, I was expecting something equally shitty. "Evangelion" was one of the most boring melodeath albums with some of the worse vocals I have ever come across! The vocals have improved a bit (only a bit), while the riffs have nothing interesting at all. The sound is also really weak, since most demos nowadays have better sound than this EP.
Ok, I know I may be bitching from time to time, but you know I am never this harsh in my reviews. This time it's different, since "Death Is Dead" is a total waste of time and money. If this band doesn't improve immediately, it honestly doesn't stand a chance out there.
