The brand new thrash hardcore metal punk band Tyranthrope from Krefeld, Germany, has teamed up with ftwctp Records to release their still untitled debut album exclusively on vinyl.

Compact songs with drive, reduced to the basics. Timeless lyrics with references to various classics go hand in hand with lyrics about breaking events. The basic idea for this project came from shouter Klaus Schwerdt. Together with longtime musically colleague Bernd Groß (bass) they started writing the first songs in early 2020. Shortly thereafter, Jochen Pelser (guitar) and the Dutchman Michiel van der Plicht (drums for Pestilence, among others) completed the band.

The result is an energetic, uncompromising blasting sound. TYT can also be roughly described as closing the gap between thrash and hardcore punk, with various subgenres shining through occasionally.
