Underground supergroup GLORIOUS DEPRAVITY comprised of Doug Moore (Pyrrhon), Chris Grigg (Woe), Matt Mewton (Woe), George Paul (Mutilation Rites), and John McKinney (Cleanteeth), will release their vicious and gut-punching debut full-length, Ageless Violence, on November 27th via Translation Loss Records.
GLORIOUS DEPRAVITY hits full-force with a slapping vengeance! Boundaryless brutality mixed with deadly, shit-eating grins of vicious riffs and pummeling percussion, the band pays homage to the late 80's and early 90's of extreme death metal - with sophisticated twists and turns. After decades of creating music in the underground through the members critically acclaimed other projects, the five-piece, all software developers from the lawless swamps of New York City, came together to create classic, thrashing, and blasphemous death metal.
GLORIOUS DEPRAVITY have released the opening track to Ageless Violence titled, "Ocean of Scabs", today via Metal Injection. About the track, drummer and backing vocalist Chris Grigg comments:
"'Ocean Of Scabs' captures a descent into otherworldly horror and suffering. Its music and lyrics depict a vision of vileness most pure: a swarming maelstrom of purulence that confounds and overwhelms the senses. It is a great joy to use this brief glimpse into our madness as the introduction to Ageless Violence."
