The book is set in the Turin of a newly unified Italy, Blut, an unlikely club made up of five members with peculiar characteristics - a doctor dedicated to extreme experiments, a mad scientist, an adventurer, a man with a dark past and a charming young woman - is involved in an intricate mystery imbued with occult powers, esotericism, murderers and magic. An adventure in pure steampunk style, guided by the common thread of the tarot, real protagonists of the novel, real engines of the action and at the same time active and present protagonists.
