AEONIAN SORROW return with a new EP, a small diamond of melodic and funeral doom metal entitled "A Life Without". This is partly a continuation of the previous album, having the same painful and doom sound that people enjoyed listening from Aeonian Sorrow, with heavy guitars, even deeper growls and ethereal yet powerful clean vocals, singing some of the most cathartic and painful lyrics for the things we've lost. At the same time it brings something new and raises the feelings and the level even higher.

The cover art made by the one and only Gogo Melone (Insomnium, Wolfheart, White Empress) while the EP is set to be released worldwide in February 7, 2020.
"A Life Without" features 4 new tracks and was recorded, mixed and mastered by Saku Moilanen at Deep Noise Studios in Finland. All vocals recorded at Deep Noise Studios in Finland and STV Studios in Greece. All drums recorded at AllSound Studios in London, UK.

This is a project of Doom Metal yet funeral and spiritual music, that describes the eternal sorrow and misery above the earth. The slow death of our souls, our human nature and instincts under the ownership of grief and pain.

AEONIAN SORROW formed by the Greek female singer/songwriter Gogo Melone in September 2015. With great musicians joined their forces, drummer Saku Moilanen (Red Moon Architect), vocalist Alejandro Lotero (Exgenesis), guitarist Taneli Jämsä (Ghost Voyage, Hukutus) and bassist Pyry Hanski (Mörbid Vomit, Before the Dawn etc.) the band started its journey into the veil of sorrow in order to start recording materials for their first release.

In October 20, 2017 the long-awaited digital single "Forever Misery" came out. That was a song taken from the debut album which was untitled at that time. With its heavy sound, dark miserable beauty and the interesting structure between the growls and unique voice of Gogo, the single managed to leave very good impressions in the metal community and prepare the ground for the full length release.

Aeonian Sorrow released their debut album "Into The Eternity A Moment We Are" in April 11, 2018. This record has been described by many as the most cathartic and melancholic record of the year and thanks to the band's professional approach, uniqueness and style they quickly managed to reach the respect of their audience plus put themselves in the same level that other known bands of this genre have nowadays.

During the summer of 2018, Aeonian Sorrow announced their session cooperation with the singer Ville Rutanen (Red Moon Architect), guitarist Jukka Jauhiainen (Red Moon Architect, Crimson Sun) and the drummer Daniel Neagoe (ex-Shape of Despair, Clouds, Eye of Solitude) with whom they were planning to make some shows together in Europe. Thanks to the bond and friendship they all had with each other this line up became official and in April of 2019 the band made a successful European tour with Swallow The Sun and Oceans of Slumber.

During the same year, Gogo announced she was working on new material and they all together re-entered the studio to record their EP "A Life Without". This work is about to be released in February 7, 2020. As for the music is partly a continuation of the previous album, having the same painful and doom sound that people enjoyed listening from Aeonian Sorrow but at the same time it brings something new and raises the feelings and level even higher.
