Phoenix, AZ atmospheric blackened death metal outfit, OV LUSTRA, have just released the re-recorded version of 'I,' which was previously released on their debut album Ov Lustra under their previous moniker, SUN SPEAKER. The absolutely crushing updated version of this track is taken from their forthcoming album, Tempestas, which is set to be released on Friday June 7, 2019 via Black Lion Records. The stunning artwork for Tempestas was created by Mark Erskine of Erskine Designs. Tempestas was produced, mixed and mastered by the band's own vocalist, Randy Abbott (Rabbott Audio).

The band had the following to say about the upcoming release:
"'I' was the first single we ever released as a band back in 2017, however, we have now rerecorded, remixed, and remastered the song due to popular demand, and truly hope you enjoy not only the reissued song, but the playthrough as well! Massive thank you to our brother, Gabe Rivera, for filming and creating this video for us."
The first 4 tracks on Tempestas consists of all new material that follows up the story that started with the band's debut album. The band partnered with the one and only Francesco Ferrini of FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE for the orchestration, to ensure that the music suited their vision for the increasingly epic journey that the character in their story is taking.
Tempestas is the telling of events that take place directly after the end of their first album. Tempestas sees their main character, The Speaker, realizing his journey and it outlines his determination to get back to his home in order to further understand why he was exiled, and to confront his accusers. The Speaker realizes that he must perform an ancient ritual that opens a maelstrom beneath the cliff that he is standing upon. For the ritual to work he must not only recite the incantation correctly, but he must descend from the cliff and into the mouth of the maelstrom. If he makes any mistake the consequence is dire and could mean death.
