Brit punk pop quintet OUT COLD are poised to break through with the launch of their engulfing new single, "Break Me Down", out 10th May. platforms. The captivating crew will also play a run of shows with UK upstarts MELWOOD.

Formed at the start of 2018, OUT COLD were formed by guitarist Archie Jacob, drummer Will Gibson and bassist Paul Mackellar. The trio later secured the talents of lead guitarist Jack Clifton and vocalist Ethan Phillips. With a full and formidable line-up in place, the fivesome soon hit the road and extensively toured throughout the UK, sharing stages with the likes of Australian pop punk heavy weights TROPHY EYES, as part of their album UK
release tour, as well as playing a series of shows with HOMEBOUND, JUNIOR, COAST TO COAST, RIVER BECOMES OCEAN, SHADED and CATCH FIRE.

With an array of influences in tow, the band cite everyone from ARCHITECTS and TROPHY EYES, to NECK DEEP and THE 1975, as inspiration. With a growing reputation for their live performances, the band's online presence has rapidly increased. Spotify added the quintet to their two largest Pop Punk playlists New Punk Tracks and Pop Punks Not Dead, which saw the band line up alongside heavyweights Blink-182 and Neck Deep. OUT COLD have also picked up
a slew of online features with publications such as Discovered Magazine, Broken Arrow Magazine, Live A little Bit Louder, Sync Music Blog & The Pop Punk Dad.

The band continue their climb this Spring with the release of their new single, "Break Me Down". Singer Ethan Phillips discusses the creation of the track: "'Break Me Down' comes from a place in a previous relationship where it was obvious it needed to end. It's about recognising your own self-worth and getting out of that toxic environment by realising that nothing that's currently happening will be able to get to you or break you."
