CORNERS OF SANCTUARY (COS) is bringing their metal stampede to the US west coast with a string of shows in Southern California and Nevada during the month of November. They will be showcasing music from their latest album "The Galloping Hordes," which was recently released on Killer Metal Records (Germany).
"It has been one hell of a year," said James Pera, bassist for Philly's own Metal machine Corners of Sanctuary (COS). "It has been nothing short of exciting and it's not over yet," he added.
And what a year it has been. The band signed a new label deal, released two new albums, produced several music videos, performed in Europe and is now getting ready to embark on the final leg of their 2018 Galloping Hordes tour, performing a string of shows presented by Metal Babe Mayhem and MBM MUSIC LLC. on the West Coast including a date in Las Vegas on November 6th.
"We are excited and very fortunate to be able to do what we do," said COS guitarist Mick Michaels. "Having this chance to share our music with so many people this year has been a blessing to say the least... because of the support of so many people, but more so because of the support from the fans, is why we can do this," added Michaels,
Following the West Coast dates, COS is set to release a new Holiday EP titled "Counting the Days... A Merry Metal Xmas V." The EP includes a brand new track along with new versions of several previous titles.
"A Merry Metal Xmas has become a tradition with us," Pera stated. "It's a chance for us to not only celebrate this time of year in our own way but also try different things musically," he continued.
Look for the "Counting the Days!" Holiday EP to release Black Friday, November 23rd.
Corners of Sanctuary will continue celebrating the season by finishing up the year with three shows in their home state of Pennsylvania.
