Baltimore, Maryland's OG Deathcore troupe, WHISTERIA COTTAGE, is making noise in the underground again! The band has partnered with Rebel Pyro Musick for a special 10 year anniversary re-release of their now classic debut album, Heathen. The original files were handed over to the ever capable Zack Ohren (All Shall Perish, Carnifex, Cattle Decapitation) at Castle Ultimate Studios, for a full remix and remaster. The re-release will feature all new artwork as well, making the already hard to find original release that much more collectible.

WHISTERIA COTTAGE was formed in 2006 by Mike Comegys And Chris Booth. In Feb. of 2008 they recorded their demo EP with Jamie King (Between the Buried and Me, Through the Eyes of the Dead, Killwhitneydead) at The Basement Studios in Winston-Salem, NC, USA. This was a huge break for them as the demo made the rounds on social media and managed to get the attention of Alex Pavlov and Statik Factory Records. By summer of 2008, WHISTERIA COTTAGE had completed their first tour and officially signed to Statik Factory Records. In late 2008 the band headed back to The Basement Studios to record their now classic and highly sought after debut album, Heathen, with Jamie King. Heathen was released on January 27th, 2009.
