Deven Davis, the wife of Korn singer Jonathan Davis, died yesterday (August 17) aged 39.
According to TMZ, her death comes on the same day her husband filed a restraining order against her; no cause of death has yet been revealed.
A statement from Davis' publicist said Jonathan and his family were "brokenhearted" by the news.
The statement read:
"The Davis family is brokenhearted over the devastating loss of Deven Davis. We ask that you respect their privacy - and the privacy of those close to the family - and allow them the space to mourn in private."
It concluded:
"We thank you for your love, understanding and prayers of support during this difficult time."
Jonathan filed for divorce from his late wife in October 2016 but the couple appeared together in a Facebook Live Video in December 2017.
TMZ reported that Jonathan filed a domestic violence restraining order again Deven alleging that she was "constantly under the influence of the nitrous oxide, cocaine and Norco." A temporary order was reportedly sought to stop Deven from visiting their two children.

Recently, Korn announced that they were returning to the studio to record their next album, as reported by the band's drummer Ray Luzier.
The band's last record, 'The Serenity Of Suffering', was released in 2016. It marked their 12th full-length studio release since forming in 1993.
Earlier this year, Davis released a solo album, 'Black Labrynth.'
