BOSSE-DE-NAGE: Share My Shroud From Their Forthcoming Further Still LP
August 17, 2018
The song appears alongside a rare interview with the band; Further Still will be released September 14th from The Flenser.
"Their affinity for shoegaze, post-hardcore, screamo, and even indie rock courses through each composition, weaving their influence around each blackened chord and tremolo clawing like silver threads spiking iron ore." - Pitchfork
One month from today, San Francisco post-black-metal band BOSSE-DE-NAGE will release their highly-anticipated fifth full-length Further Still. The album marks a bold diversion from BOSSE-DE-NAGE's typically sprawling arrangements in favor of airtight, propulsive song structures. Deliberately succinct and fuming, the grip of nine new tracks finds Bosse-de-Nage pitting their unique lyrical structures against hairpin turning melodies.
In anticipation of Further Still's release, BOSSE-DE-NAGE sat down with Invisible Oranges for a rare, in-depth interview as well as a premiere of the album's second single, "My Shroud." Read the interview and check out the track here:

BOSSE-DE-NAGE first surfaced in 2006 with a rousing demo tape that was subsequently released by Aesop Dekker's The Funeral Agency label. Four years and an informal hiatus later, The Flenser brought the band's debut album to the
masses and breathed new life into the then-dwindling project. A flurry of blackgaze-influenced EPs and LPs would follow, inspiring BOSSE-DE-NAGE to hone their surrealist approach to metal into one unmistakable, idiosyncratic footprint.
