Oslo based metallers I, The Betrayer recently unveiled their new clip for latest single "Boaster"! Created by Andy Pilkington (Very Metal Art) the song was premiered exclusively on Overdrive.ie!

Vocalist Chris Wiborg had this to say on the song:

"The everlasting quest to prove one's worth shapes the life choices that we make. We lead life not by virtue but by the means to receive recognition for one's often meaningless accomplishments. Be it in vain or not, humility is cast aside and humans fall victim to boasting."

I, the Betrayer is made up of five guys from altogether different musical backgrounds brought together by their love of metal, and random chance, to create music which encompasses every part of their collective vision. Influenced by all kinds of styles, from blues and progressive rock to death metal, they have managed to carve their own identity within the genre.

Amongst the heavy metal chugging and pounding drums, you can expect to hear soaring vocal melodies leading to guttural lows, progressive inspired leads on top of driving metal progressions and contemplative clean passages exploding into a forceful and commanding song.

As a band, they've worked for two years to produce this debut EP. Though highs and lows and difficult schedules they have toiled to make what they agree best represents them as musicians and artists alike.
