BURDENS WITHIN: Releases Debut Album and Music Video for "Dead End Towns"
January 29, 2018
On January 26, 2018, Burdens Within releases their self-titled debut album and official music video for "Dead End Towns."
The video for "Dead End Towns" paints a haunting picture of a man who has not had the luxury to pursue his dreams. However, he still retains a sense of hope, as his love of music shows, despite these harsh circumstances. The story pairs well with shots of Burdens Within playing in front of an abandoned factory, which conjures up a sense of urban decay.
Delving further into the meaning of this powerful hard rock song, bassist Ryan J. Kline notes:
"There are many 'Dead End Towns' across America with little hope beyond factories or fast food. This song/video is a tribute to those who aspire for something more."
Pick up the album at both digital and retail outlets everywhere via Pavement Entertainment.
Burdens Within formed in 2010 when bassist Ryan J. Kline and guitarist Mike Riley's previous bands came to an end. The duo ran into each other and decided to get together to write some music. They wanted to write songs with no barriers. Both men united, armed with one purpose: to make kickass rock music!
With its roots in the alternative grunge movement of the '90s and added elements of classic rock, hard rock, and metal, Burdens Within covers all the bases and has created its own unique sound. Rounding out the lineup is Craig Thomas on drums, Ryan Alan Battering on lead guitar, and Daniel R. Rivers on vocals.
