Chinese fans start to embrace heavy metal! It is proven. Scream Maker, a Warsaw (Poland) based heavy metal band is about to hit China road in November to play 20 acoustic shows.

Scream Maker is a traditional heavy metal band inspired by the British tradition. Good melodies, riffs and modern yet not "digital" sound. In its 5-years long career the band recorded albums and played over 200 shows, including opening for Judas Priest, Motorhead or Slayer. Since 2014 they've been regularly touring China. - We went there by the invitation of two die hard metal fans that released our album there and organized the tour to promote it. We played 6 shows, including the big Chinese festival Strawberry Music - says Sebastian, Scream Maker's singer. The second tour was smaller in terms of stages - they played 10 shows in clubs. - We did a lot of networking there which enabled us to go on the third tour and play at Midi and Changjiang, one of the largest Chinese music festivals. Now we're trying to push it even further and we go to play this intense unplugged tour.

Michael, the group's main composer and guitarist says they prepared a special song for the tour. - Titled "Lost in Shanghai" because, believe me, it is very easy to get lost in Shanghai - he laughs and denies there is a chance for a heavy metal band to "conquer" China. - Are you joking? There is 1,4 bln people there. Impossible to make them all to listen to you. We go to China because we love the adventure, we also love the enthusiasm of Chinese fans - he adds.

There will be a second guitarist joining them on the tour - Luke Mackiewicz. He played in Scream Maker 2 years ago but went to Tokio, Japan for a scholarship. Now it is even closer for him to get to Shanghai.
