A year ago,Neurosis'sScott Kellyspoke about the band's plans for its next studio CD. He said: "We're going to try to get a new record out quicker than the last one. The last one took five years to get out because of, you know, basically, because of personal shit that came up and interrupted the process. We're hoping to turn one around in a more reasonable time and just keep gigging."
In the meantime,Neurosishas announced a dozen new live performances across Europe in August, where they will be joined on select dates by Latvia's fascinating experimental trioTesa.

"Honor Found In Decay"sold around 1,800 copies in the United States in its first week of release. The CD landed at position No. 9 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.
