Cada Vez Pior
Worst
And WORST, the Brazilian kings of Beatdown Hardcore are back, heavier, more aggressive and bitter, spreading bullets of anger to every side with "Cada Vez Pior", their second full-length.
Their music is with slow tempos, more focused in dense and heavier arrangements, what makes their work aggressive, grinding their teeth and breathing violence for all pores of their bodies, even better than on "Te Desejo Todo o Mal do Mundo", their first album. The vocals got a good evolution in terms of diction, the riffs are denser and heavier than before, the bass appears more and with good technique, and the drums are fantastic. Good musical taste and technique allied to great songs.
Fernando Schaefer (the band's drummer) produced the album, having the helping hand of Tiago Hóspede (who did the mixing and mastering as well), all work done at Estúdio Lamparina (in São Paulo). And the sound quality is both clean and aggressive at the very same time, so prepare your ears and necks! As the band says, it's "Hardcore Ogro Sem Dó de Porra Nenhuma!", or "Ogre Hardcore with No Mercy for Fuckin' Shit!".
The musical evolution can be seen and heard in songs like "Transbordando Ódio" (what riffs!), "Só Depende de Você" (great drumming in a very violent song), the bitter "Andar na Linha", "Honra Dilacerada" (in this song, the bass guitar really shows a good work, as the vocals are perfect in a mid tempo song), the kick in the mouth "Acreditar" and "Sem Dó" (this song really makes the listener shake his head to the end).
It's a masterpiece, so buy it, and remember: "Levanta a Mão Quem Tem Ódio Nessa Porra!"
