Kill.Fucking.Everyone
Watchmaker

Watchmaker's killing album finally made its way to Europe through the corporation of Earache and Willowtip. I think that the best words to describe Wathcmaker's music are... total fucking destruction... for their sonic attack! It is really useless to try to find something interesting here unless you are a really tough Metal fan! In other words, the word melody is totally absent in here!
The majority of the songs are very short in duration and this definitely adds to their aggression. They open with The Burden Of Choice, a 50 seconds preparation for the audio war which is about to follow! You can not really tell the difference from song to song since there is total diffuse disaster all over the place! The drumming as well as the guitar works show that these guys are very well trained!
They seem to compose their songs in a more sophisticated way and with more style than the average grindcore Metal bands. You can not really say that Watchmaker will bring the hugest revolution in Heavy Metal but they play with real guts and seem willing to deliver a punch in our nose with their music! Watchmaker seem to continue their legacy of pissed off songwriting, fuelled with anger and they do it to such an extent that they will have trouble to overcome themselves in their next album.
Sharp riffs are spread all over in an overflowing madness! I bet my mama would probably not be interested that much in this record! She would rather prefer the last Obituary album! The vocals are performed in a love it or hate it manner, thus you will either love them or totally hate them! But that is how grindcore is, man!
Kill. Fucking. Everyone is really tough and reminds in certain ways the glorious Carcass days of Earache!
