The Italian Metal scene is getting better and better every day, I always get very excited when I receive a CD from an Italian band to review because it always turns out to be a very good band indeed, and this time around it is no different, WARSPEL Thrash Metal band with some young blood bringing chaos and torment to the Vatican, hell on them!

WARSTORM was formed in 2011 and released back then an EP entitled "Let The Warstorm Begin" with three tracks and the message was clear, they are here to Thrash. Now their quest is carried on with "Goatspel" a album with six tracks and 33 minutes length of pure Thrash Metal up your ass!!
Fans of HAVOK, FUELLED BY FIRE will love this album, the first track "Checkmate For Mankind" raises the flag high, great melodies and chorus, aggressive, hate, sharp guitars, yes, fucking rules, bang your heads, very modern and bone crushing, very interesting song. "The Age Of false Innocence" is here, fast drumming and the vocals singing away tearing up flesh along the way, I love the backing vocals too. You have been "Cursed" by this very fine Italian band, awesome guitars all over the place, at times it feels like I am listening to early DESTRUCTION; that's how good this band is.

"Relentless Possession" another killer song, lots of variation and good pace, the vocals definitely stand out, very American, I mean they could be from The Bay Area. "Pulse Of Existence" again kicking asses, the songs are well constructed and well thought, it sounds fresh and I don't get bored at all, the last track "Goatspel" a ten minute song, amazing stuff really, great song with lots of work, guitars are fucking good, lots of variations in tempo, solos, vocals kick asses. That shows how good these Italians really are.

The production is excellent and the art cover perfect. WARSTORM have given us a masterpiece and a lesson in how to make good Thrash Metal Music without bullshit!!! Grazie Mille!!!!
