Vampire Hall - Transformations of Immortality (demo) album cover

I have to admit, listening to Black Metal is not exactly what I like doing in my spare time but sometimes the occasions demand it. I got this demo tape from a friend of mine, who wanted to give me an idea of how Black Metal should properly be performed. This guy is absolutely right.
Vampire Hall is a Greek Black Metal band, performing Vampiric Black Metal exclusively. None had warned me about the holocaust that would follow and I got into some deep trouble. From the moment I hit the play button my brains splashed onto the wall!!! Man... these guys are FAST!!! Transformations of Immortality is their first demo tape and probably the one that will lead them to a contract deal.
We are talking about pure, raw, fast and blasphemous Black Metal. A combination of ultra blasting drumbeats and killer riffs while you hear one of the most extreme, rotten and sick voices. Oh boy, this singer is really angry. Every word he sings makes you crawl with fear at the same time. Nothing reminds you of the Greek well-known Black Metal sound bands like Varathron, Necromantia and Rotting Christ produce. Instead of that Vampire Hall directs your thoughts to some Northern European acts.
I don't know if these guys are known in the underground Black Metal scene but they sure deserve to be on top. The first song seems to be an intro for the satanic concept, which follows. The lyrics are actually satanic poetry based on Dr. Anton Lavey's philosophy and teaching. Sulfurous or not, Vampire Hall released a very good demo tape and believe me, if I like it then probably the Black Metal fans will worship it. Sounds like a Hellenic Black Metal assault, indeed. Excellent job!!! Well done.
