Sudden Death - Injection Of Hate album cover

Wow!!! An all out brutal attack by these guys over here! Since I knew they were from Italy, I expected something like Corpsefucking Art. It seems that I was right. Brutal Death Metal that cannot be heard easily by every single listener... I forgot to tell you that I'm a Death Metal fan, too!!!
Sudden Death is a brutal Death Metal band, hailing from Italy... I've already said that, haven't I? Anyway, this CD almost destroyed my speakers! Founded during 1997, Sudden Death have gone through some lineup changes to finally release their debut album Devoured Inside (2001). The band went through one more lineup change as Lorenzo of Power Metal band Behind Chaos was replaced by Flavio.
At first, I admit that I didn't like the CD at all. The more I listened to it, the more I liked it. But after having a clear opinion about what I heard, Sudden Death seem to be a band that is able to punch you down with its unbelievable energy. They surely don't lack of technical abilities. What I can't understand is why they came up with such a weak release. They surely have the ability to produce something stronger and more professional. The production isn't the best possible, something that surely reduces the quality of their work. Especially when we're talking about a 2005 release. Their appetite for music is more than obvious and that is what makes me hope for something better from this band. If they want to make a step forward, they have to develop their skills and do something better with the production. However, I liked this band and I just got a bit disappointed with their lack of inspiration. I wouldn't describe Injection Of Hate as something bad but they can't attract much attention by releasing this kind of stuff.
If you are a fan of extreme Metal, I admit that you may like this CD, but don't forget I'm a fan of the genre too. I am just looking forward to their next official release, which I truly believe will kick some ass. I hope they come up with more inspired work...
