Metal maniacs, rejoice! I'm proud to present to you: SINNER; signed via AFM Records, hailing from the glory of Germany - performing Heavy Metal, on their 18th album entitled "Tequila Suicide". (Released March 31st, 2017)

Since formation in 1980; the quintet in question have 17 albums behind them, I'm introduced to their 18th new installment - "Tequila Suicide". Who says Rock/Heavy Metal is dead? SINNER are one of the forerunners of traditional old-school Heavy Metal; having been around since the dawn of its awakening, they for sure have their work cut out for them. 18 albums in their lifespan is an impressive display of showmanship towards their career and love for Metal. Though the question remains, however...does this record hold up as a must have? That would be a resounding yes. 13 tracks ranging at around 39:15 of uncompromising Heavy Metal plague this delicate beast with some intricately designed formulations. Opening track "Go Down Fighting" is your typical Heavy Metal track filled with flamboyance and flair; combined with songwriting that's elegantly sufficient with an original and memorable sound production.

This 4-piece quartet consists of Mat Sinner on vocals/bass who provides exquisite cords that have years of experience and enjoyably complex ranges full of adroitness; power, and constructive distinctions in a unique balance. Titular track showcases profusely induced dexterous adaptively from guitar duo Tom Naumann & Alex Scholpp; both flourish with fitting skill - showcasing hard-hitting riffs and dominance to pound the ground with loud and proud Metal.

"Road To Hell", "Dragons" & "Battle Hill" delivered a stimulating effect with efficiency and solid production; I had a blast with the destructive pummeling from powerhouse drummer Francesco Jovino, diligently crushes the steel with an energizing aesthetic. "Sinner Blues", "Why" & "Gypsy Rebels" utilize an organic substance with aptitude ability; SINNER make sure to keep the Heavy Metal spark flowing while not sounding similarly indifferent & spectacularly coherent with consistently written organization. "Loud & Clear", "Dying On A Broken Heart" & "House Of Rock" were invigorating exerts - where the latter track had me fist-pounding to stunning solos with a dynamic chorus that had me in a state of blazing excitement. Concluding "Tequila Suicide" with the final 2 tracks "Monday Morning" & "I Am"; where both showed diversity and fulfilling attributions that will certainly guarantee to get your Heavy Metal fix 100%.

"Tequila Suicide" was a breath of fresh air for me; I had an enlightening experience with this one and SINNER has outdone themselves, while gaining themselves a new fan. This is why it's great to be a journalist - to discover some fine creations such as this here band.<
