Out For Blood

Whenever Steve Di Giorgio found some spare time between his bands, projects, football teams and other activities he participates in (I think he was a striker for Juventus...), he decided to record one more Sadus masterpiece. What's so special this time? Hmmm, let's see...
Sadus formed back on 1984 by vocalist Darren Travis, bassist Steve Di Giorgio, guitarist Rob Moore and drummer Jon Allen. Their baptism of fire came with their Demo tape Death To Posers (1986). Their hard work earned them a contract with Roadrunner Records. Rob Moore left the band and the remaining members went on to record Elements Of Anger (1997). But, from 1984 up to 2006 many things changed and Sadus, more mature than ever, have to offer much more things.
Out For Blood is a work that manages to hold down a place in your CD player for a really long time... Unbelievable compositions that meet the expectations everyone has from a musician like Steve Di Giorgio. He's just so... perfect! When you have this guy in your band, it's like having Ronaldinho in your team; guaranteed success. Recorded in Pacheco Studios, California, Out For Blood offers a wide variety of sounds, as most of Sadus' records do. Di Giorgio plays the bass, keyboards and electric sitar! What on earth can he NOT do when it comes to music? Jon Allen is just irreproachable as always. As for Darren Travis, he must have lost his voice after the recordings. Powerful voice! He has improved a lot the last years. And now, the record's surprise: Chuck Billy and Juan Urteaga are the guest appearances on the record. Chuck Billy's vocals on Crazy are an all out brutal attack! Just like Juan Urteaga, the other brutal guest star!!! They both stress the diversity of this band. Don' t forget the chemistry between Di Giorgio and Chuck Billy. Except for the fact they're two Thrash titans, they're also band mates in Testament, something that helped them with the recordings of the track.
The CD contains a video of the recordings and some Sadus stuff from inside the studio. As they say, their recordings are like a party. The limited edition of Out For Blood comes with a bonus CD containing 3 bonus tracks and a multimedia section.
A mature work from a band that has nothing to prove to the Metal audience. Sadus just produce one magnificent piece of work after another. Out For Blood is definitely a must have for everyone out there. You won't regret investing your money on this album.
