One would think that after 10 years we'd have a couple of full-lengths along with demos and EPs. But here we are with the maniacs in SADISTIC RITUAL who have been together since 2010 and have given us demos, live performances and EPs, but finally, we have a full-length and it tastes sweet. Full of aggressiveness with riffs galore it's hard to pick a favorite song. There are ways though and I found one so let's get into it.

We are greeted at the door by "Visionaire of Death" and "...in Cold Blood". This is a great one, two punch to get you started on this Thrash-filled journey hitting you with the savage riffagry and vocals that slice through the mix sounding a tad like Mille Petrozza of KREATOR. Slicing your way through this album you find out that SADISTIC RITUAL found their own sound: no frills, all killer, no filler Thrash attack.

"Double Crossed" may be the most addicting song on the album with a building bridge straight into a chorus that is so catchy you'll be banging your head until your eyes bleed. The next song, "Executioner", doesn't stop making you forget about the last riff smashing your air guitar mid-performance. They really hit their stride, especially the middle part of the album.

The whole album brings back the spirit of the old school, drawing from 80s SLAYER, KREATOR and SODOM. This is a very strong outing from some clear veterans of the scene. This doesn't feel like a debut, but more like a magnum opus for the band pulling out all the stops and creating a violent, no-holds-barred, 37-minute Thrash assault.
