S.K.W.A.D. - Big Mono album cover

Hmmm...this label is not my cup of tea; no way. Having in mind the likes of British youth in our days, I'd except to hear something like this from the very beginning. S.K.W.A.D. (an acronym for what?) - at least - where more melodic and straightforward from an average Brit Rock release, so let it be (no enthusiasm for a Hard 'n' Heavy mag, in default).
Pontypridd, Wales. Year 2004. Punk Rock. Glam Rock. The British Press. MOTORHEAD, BACKYARD BABIES, OFFSPRING, S.O.A.D., CURE...enough. The six-track Big Mono EP holds some dynamic riffing, with electric production. The vocals are typical for your 15-years-old nephew, doing his own revolution by letting his jeans fall off his ass (nothing bad, anyway). In addition, Dane's drumming is kick-ass, performing every groove in deep lunacy. His brother's vocals keep an eye on the NWOAHM style, even if the UK 'smell' is obvious even from the Casket label's name.
Kerrang! has rated the band's first full-length - due for release the time we're writing this review - on nearly 'top' scale. I've stopped reading to this mag for the last fifteen years (at least). Feel the same way? Ignore S.K.W.A.D.; they can deal better with juvenile rockheads.
P.S.: I dig Nemanja Vidic...
