There was a certain fame vocalist Joey D'Angeli did handle the vocal duties in SKID ROW prior to Bach's arrival, even if his throat resembles to the style of ROXX GANG (huh, huh...), CINDERELLA and MOTLEY CRUE...and some of SKID ROW, OK. These vagabonds were raised in the 80s Glam scene, and - even if they lack originality - seem to get along with good loud hooks really well, raising question for why they did not succeed in a '$$$' contract with a relative label back then.
The guitar work is harsh, no keys and lovin' melodies are to be found, while the drinkin' 'party' feeling goes on throughout the whole album. Hmmm...wrong. The semi-ballad Give Up Your Heart sees this melodic emotional 'MTV future' hit style (remember POISON and KIX). As for the Production it really fits like a glove to the mean business of ROXX.
Ideal for all 80s glam/sleaze lovers, ROXX and Outlaws, Fools & Thieves can getcha rocks off. If you have enough money to take this one, too.
