Candy It Up

Now, isn't it fun to listen to an album pure of AC/DC stuff? OK, since the Aussie legends do not tend to record anything new, ROLLER is a good method of reminding the basic deeds of Rock 'n' roll. Krank it up with Candy It Up and the pleasure will be all yours.
Nope, have not ever heard of this band in prior. They are based in Chicago, Illinois and they mean serious rockin'-and-rollin' business. Rusty is an American Bon Scott clone (with some of Marc Storace), Snooks plays it loud the Angus Young way and...the story goes on. Apart from the AC/DC influence, there's lots of 70s KISS in Candy It Up. Most of the songs are mid-tempos with plain riffs, some dusty production and a loud mix. I read in a Press Release that the band has opened up for gigs of MOTORHEAD, KISS, MOTLEY CRUE, IRON MAIDEN, VINCE NEIL, ANTHRAX and (even) NICKELBACK in the recent past. Something good does this mean.
The album could have easily been released 15-20 years ago in no danger. Depending on you love for straightforward 'hard' rock 'n' roll, Candy It Up will stand its own (your own?) grade. Mine, being (if it wasn't for the shitty cover)...
