Pandaemonium - The Last Prayer album cover

I would like to start this review by writing about the band's history: PANDAEMONIUM was formed in 1995 from the ashes of MAD FAITH, a Thrash Metal band. Strongly inspired by fantasy literature and role playing game, PANDAEMONIUM changed their style into Power / Epic Metal, although only a few bands used to play that genre at that time, Now I have nothing against Thrash Metal but I think this new and improved group has created an amazing nature. Some of PANDAEMONIUM's influences I could have heard immediately. Such as:  ANGRA, BLIND GUARDIAN, GAMMA RAY, HELLOWEEN and NIGHTWISH and all of those above are great Power Metal bands and I'd like to add PANDAEMONIUM to this awesome list.

If I may, I would like to talk to Daniel Reda (Vocalist): Daniel, you have an incredible voice; the power, the roughness and the drama: Very much like an opera singer. But for the next album, try to be as one with the tempo: As a singer (I used to sing opera too), I know that sometimes too much vocal power (Crescendo) can put the voice out of balance and lose the unity with a song's tempo. But other than that- You're great! I believe the forth track "Holy Voices" is about Daniel's vocal abilities. Well done!

"The Last Prayer" is such an amazing masterpiece: Every instrumental aspect of this album is original for 100%: The guitar riffs are fantastic! The drumming work is surprisingly good, and it comes to its best at the fifth track "Tower Of Fears" when the tempo is irregular like in a Progressive Metal band but we must not forget that PANDAEMONIUM is a Power Metal band that have managed to create a beautiful décor for the story behind "The Last Prayer".

It is interesting to put a male vocalist with a dramatic voice combining an acoustic guitar parts like at the sixth track "The White Voice" and somewhere in the middle of this track to put a mind-exploding powerful guitar solo; as I said earlier: 100% originality! Bravo! I highly recommend PANDAEMONIUM's "The Last Prayer"; it's such a great journey to all melodic Power Metal fans.
