Madness Of The Night

Husband and wife, Daniel Dante and Abir Blackshadow are forming the Gothic Rock / Dark Wave band "Madness Of The Night" and they currently live in Sweden. Their first album is called "Asgarda" and it's the result of collaboration between a composer/musician heavily influenced by the wave of the 80's Metal and Lebanese singer Blackshadow who brings her character and dynamism with a fair amount of Eastern spices.
Since the first piece "Oppression", I noticed the great musical maturity. The music exudes a charisma that reflects the spirit of the two musicians forming this band. Passion and emotion reign on all tracks of this album, and it makes me want to take this wonderful journey. The music is very reminiscent of a period well determine the life of the leaders of the gothic scene PARADISE LOST. The riffs are very melodic and direct all staying with more direct arrangements but without falling into repetitiveness. A Punky spirit emerges from several pieces such as in "The State Of Madness" with the voice of Blackshadow which is the catalyst of this album, i was surprised by the use of Arabic language on "Theater Of Life" and especially the local Lebanese accent, as in "Stand up". Also, Abir did not hesitate to use a symphonic and operatic voice; "She Is The Demon" is the perfect example. Atmospheric combinations used by Dante by enhancing the piano passages for smoother tones. Several themes addressed in the songs revolve around politics, revolution and war with a very good production, which concentrates on the Gothic / Electro character and Punky at the same time.
If I'm going to speak again of this album and what I felt listening to the motivation and personality of Blackshadow and professionalism of Dante, I'll still write paragraphs and paragraphs. I will load this album in my iPod to more discover this work, do not miss this album go, and get your copy.
