Across The Realm Of Time
Kilmara
Metal maniacs, rejoice! I am proud to present to you: KILMARA; signed via ROAR! ROCK OF ANGELS RECORDS, hailing from Spanish grounds - performing Melodic Heavy Metal, on their 4th album entitled: "Across The Realm Of Time" (released August 31st, 2018).
Since formation in 2003; the band in question have 3 albums behind them, I am introduced to their 4th album entitled: "Across The Realm Of Time". 10 tracks ranging at around 48:02; the band arrange an intricately designed formula of Melodic Heavy Metal developments, the .50s cinematic and operatic introduction "...And Into The World" begins the record with a unique opening - until the even more epic "Purging Flames" eradicates that with concretely gritty distinctions. KILMARA convey in persistently poetic ramifications; while demonstrating diligently bouncy instrumentation and musicianship, distributing catchy grooves and crunchy aesthetics in which inject a solid slab of profusely robust Power/Melodic Heavy Metal amalgamations.
Consisting of vocalist Daniel Ponce; the frontman delivers clean pipes of high-pitched harmonies, as "The Silent Guide" consistently establishes meticulous melodies and rhythmic vehemence - embellished with complex dexterity from guitar duo Jonathan Portilo & Kike Torres. "The End Of The World" efficiently converges boistrously amplified energy, with catchy creativity and a hint of conceptual elements in which implements diverse dynamics and progressively technical variety. "My Haven" portrays thunderously thumpy sufficiencies, as powerhouse bassist showcases audible stability which culminates a galloping rampage of organic substance and battering onslaught with fluidly polished results – while contrasted with anthemic, blistering hymns and hardened flamboyancy.
"Principles Of Hatred" chugs away with adrenaline-fuelled finesse, dominately pounding with a grandiose manifestation of pummelling drums from Javi Morillo - exercised with hammering proficiency that brings a nice groovy effect to it. "The Forge" forges detailed craftsmanship of balanced characteristics; enlightened with fulfilling songwriting adroitness, assaulted with captivating hooks that will get anyone ready for battle. "Disciples" brings out the primitive maliousness of the band, which is tampered with salubrious savagery while fused with originally memorable orchestrations. "I Shall Rise Again" contributes elegantly composed chaos and barraged with frienzied mayhem that had me enjoying an exquisite piece of razor-sharp nimbleness and admirably commendable expertise.
Overall concluding the record with the finale track: "Out From The Darkness..."; I was entertained with a constructively distinguished record, as KILMARA certainly outdone themselves with "Across The Realm Of Time" - check it out.<
