In the beginning of the 80s, the entire world was witnessing Thrash Metal invasions from various countries. From USA, METALLICA, ANTHRAX, MEGADETH and SLAYER came to ravage their lands with ripping guitar riffs. In Germany, DESTRUCTION, SODOM, KREATOR and TANKARD were unleashing hell on European shores with ARTILLERY from Denmark and ONSLAUGHT from UK. Even now, their heritage is still creating new follower to their musical works. So it's not strange to see an excellent band as the North-American quartet HEMOTOXIN appearing, and destroying ears and necks with their excellent music. Just seconds from the songs on "Biological Enslavement" will proof my words.

These four North American madmen are unleashing a ferocious, brutal and technical way of Thrash Metal, in the same school of their compatriots from VEKTOR. But don't get the wrong idea, because here you find a strong and bold form of music, but done with personality, and a violent one, to be clear. Beware of your ears when you're listening this album. Scott Fuller produced "Biological Enslavement", and he did a good work. Besides the drums are a bit louder than the necessary, and the instrumental tunes are too raw, we can understand clearly what they are playing and doing. Their music demands a better quality, it's clear for us all. But it is not as bad as my words could seem. If you understand their musical work, you'll be astonished, because it's really good.

"Regression" is a fast and excellent song, filled with excellent guitar riffs and solos, and with very good rhythmic changes; in the beginning of "Minus Human", you have some Jazz influence, before the world comes down, with an extreme aggressive song, with fine harsh vocal tunes and excellent technique; the brutal grasp of the thundering guitars presented on "Forgotten Faces" (but the rhythmic kitchen is excellent, with bass guitar and drums creating very good rhythmic passages); and the excellent work of all the band as an unity presented on "The Alchemist" and "Bleak Prognosis" (both full of great rhythmic changes, astonishing vocals and guitars, and a brutal work on bass and drums). These are the best moments, but the entire album is excellent. Perhaps there could be better production next time, and then nothing one will hold these guys back!
