Past, Present, Future

Well it's happened, until now each band I have reviewed has been extremely easy to find on Google but not this one. This group I speak of goes by the name COVER and as you can imagine when you type their name on the search engine you don't get the result you are looking for. The same thing happens when you type in their album name "Past, Present, Future"; not the most original name for a record it turns out as other artists such as AL STEWART are the first thing.
So after finally finding them on the best tool known to any Metal music journo, the Metal Archives how I didn't think of that in the first place I will never know, I was very interested to see that this band hail from Romania. Apart from Poland you don't seem to hear of any Metal from the rest of Eastern Europe; I understand there could be many I don't know about but this is the first Metal band I have come across from Eastern Europe other than Poland. They originally set out to be a covers band hence the band name.
They have a Hard Rock, Heavy Metal sound that resonances like the likes of METALLICA, LED ZEPPELIN and THIN LIZZY which again isn't a bad thing at all. The best examples of this sound are in the tracks "Endless Nightmare", "Uncertain Grounds" and "Weather Beaten Soul". It gives you the raw acoustic ballads and the fist pumping anthems that ensure you find a way to let off some steam.
For a re-release of their debut album it isn't bad yet it isn't mind-blowing, it definitely floats somewhere in the middle. That is my personal opinion which you can agree or disagree with; I still would recommend it just so you can get a feel of their sound that I'm sure with the right nourishments will grow and develop into something magical.
